As Chief Dog Tester for Infinite Journeys, I take my responsibilities very seriously. Especially when they involve lying down and having a nap!
This week I’ve been testing my new Ultimate Cooling Pet Mat, and I have to say… I’m rather impressed.
With the recent hot weather, Mum wanted to make sure I had somewhere comfortable to keep cool, both at home and when we’re travelling. She chose the XXL size, giving me plenty of room to stretch out properly.
Unlike some cooling mats, this one doesn’t contain gel, so there’s no need to chill it in the fridge or freezer before using it. I simply climbed on, stretched out and let it get to work.

🐾 Comfort: Excellent. Nice and soft to lie on.
🐾 Size: Plenty of room for me to stretch out.
🐾 Cooling: It stayed pleasantly cool and was very comfortable, even on warm days.
🐾 Travel Friendly: One of Mum’s favourite features is that it folds up neatly, making it easy to pack in the car, caravan, motorhome or even take along on a dog-friendly holiday.
🐾 Cleaning: Very easy to wipe clean if I happen to bring a little bit of the garden back indoors!
Mum’s Verdict
As my personal assistant, Mum was looking for something practical that could be used at home and while travelling.
The fact that it folds away easily means it doesn’t take up much room, which is ideal when you’re packing for a trip.

Would I recommend it?
Absolutely!
Whether you’re relaxing in the garden, staying in a hotel, touring in a motorhome or enjoying a dog-friendly cottage, having somewhere cool to rest makes a big difference on warm days.
